I painted the house, washed the curtains, threw the carpets out, opened the windows, washed the beds but the smell seems to be embedded in the mattresses.

I'm moving there for 8-months to study, and I don't think I can transport my stuff. Any places to buy cheap single beds, mattresses and desks?

A while ago I got an Ikea bed and after I put it all together my full sized mattress wouldn't fit! It actually went about 6 inches over the end of the bed. My mattress is just a typical full sized one. Are all the Ikea beds like this?

okay first of all, what are these things? their called slatted bed bases, what are they for? whats their purpose? and i don't understand are they supposed to bend the mattress or something? how is that possible, i know i sound kind of dumb ...
