Is it the impending end of ones life enough to make one stop enjoying life, even if in restricted conditions? Aren't we all living in death row since we are born?
Thanks for your answer.
Best Answer:
Maybe, the inmate feels prison as his/her home. Because free people don't always find their home.

given the state of the economy the prisoner gets medical care, a room and 3 meals a day.
As for all born prisoners we choose what we do with our lives. Weather it be a good life or a bad life.

We are all indeed living in death row upon birth.
All we can do is enjoy this sandbox that we appeared in, and only see what happens next when we die.

I don't think circumstance has much to do with enjoying life. Its got more to do with attitude.
Sure its very possible that a death row inmate will enjoy life more, and possibly value it more, than someone on the outside. Though the stress of impeding death may effect the mood of the prisoner.

what a dismal question...
anyhow. i think we have more opporunitys than them. more chances to enjoy our petty humanly pleasures such as sex, love, and power. while a death row inmate might APPRECIATE life more because he took it for granted, i dont think he can ENJOY it as we do

Depends on your definition of "enjoying life". It is a conscious decision to enjoy life or not. Because we are all on death row, so to speak, we have to make the most of what this classroom offers us.
Peace.

Ummm look this answer isn't outside the box but it's pragmatic. No they can't enjoy life more than a free person. Why? Because they have to live with what they've done. Reason enough. Also they don't get to experience lives minute treasures from within a cell. Impending doom is upon them And us as well but the difference is that they know how they're going to die. We don't. Itll be a surprise to us that was decided by Him. Peace and much love.

They get 3 square meals a day clothing medical all for free or at our expense. Yeah until they do the world a favor and die they have it made.
