Where can I find professional information / search software for background and public record checks?

US search and others charge to find people, I'm looking to purchase the same software and/or memberships that THEY have to access these searches, public records, background searches etc.. If you KNOW of this info then tell me...I saw an answer that said..."If you think you are going to get-rich-quick, then you have better think again. Maybe you will spend twice as much money buying software as you can make selling your services...." Obviously this person does NOT know the answer...I dont want your opinion...just info if you know it. If you do not have a software program to recommend or a site to visit...then dont answer as if you do. This is Yahoo 'ANSWERS'...not Yahoo OPINION...and this answer was chosen the BEST answer??....please......Thank you.
